EDGEWATER, NJ —
Effective Nov. 11, Charles Blue has been appointed cfo at Hanover Direct as part of the company's ongoing strategic business realignment plan, it said. He will succeed Ed Lambert.
The company also announced a three-year extension of its credit facility with Congress Financial Corp., to Jan. 31, 2007.
Blue will report to Tom Shull, chairman, president and ceo, with an additional reporting line to Brian Harriss, executive vp, human resources and legal, who will assume additional responsibilities as executive vp, finance & administration.
Blue joined Hanover in 1999 and most recently served as senior vp, finance, a position eliminated by the finance department restructuring.
"First, we want to thank Ed Lambert for his outstanding leadership and remarkable contributions to Hanover's restructuring efforts over the past two years amidst great personal hardships," said Shull. "Second, we are very pleased to promote Charles Blue to the position of senior vp and cfo. Charles' four years of senior finance experience at Hanover, broad knowledge of both industry and company operations and experience working closely with Mr. Lambert well-position him to provide financial leadership as we continue Hanover Direct's turnaround."
