DuPont to increase yarn prices

Wilmington, DE — DuPont will increase prices 5 percent to 10 percent for Dacron polyester filament yarns, effective June 28 for July shipments.
The increase is the second for DuPont this year. It raised prices 7 percent on April 1 in response to raw material cost increases and a stabilization of the fiber business.
This increase "is required to allow DuPont to continue to support our customers with new products, technology and value-added services," said Bill Jasper, director, polyester filament.
