Regan quits Hanover board

EDGEWATER, N.J. — Basil Regan has resigned from the Hanover Direct, Inc. board of directors, effective July 30.

As a result, Regan will not be standing for re-election at the company's Aug. 12 annual meeting of shareholders.

"The recently completed financing package provides the company with significant additional liquidity to grow its businesses," he stated. "With the company now focused on operational execution, it is appropriate for me to return my focus to other business commitments."
