Carlsruh Named Home VP at ShopKo

Vet Responsible for Profitability

Green Bay, Wis. —

Jim Carlsruh has been named divisional vice president of home at ShopKo, with responsibility for the merchandising and profitability of housewares, furniture, lamps, auto and hardware at all 140 locations.

He comes to ShopKo from Meijer where he was divisional merchandise manager of housewares and home textiles.

“Jim's broad-based experience will be of great assistance to us as we continue to focus our efforts on becoming a merchandising-driven organization,” said Doug Wurl, senior vice president and general merchandise manager of home.
