Springs vet Langone joins House of Yue-Sai

Shanghai – Rich Langone has joined the House of Yue-Sai as senior vp, creative director.

He will be responsible for the design and creation of a large portion of the merchandises for this newly formed company that will open retail home furnishings stores in China beginning later this year.

Langone most recently was vp, creative development at Springs Global US .

Earlier he was with The Robert Allen Group, and Bibb.

He will be based here.

Yue-Sai Kan, a Chinese-American entrepreneur who is a leading TV personality, author, and creator of a major cosmetic business dedicated to Asian women, told HTT the first store will open later this year in Shanghai and will focus largely on home textiles, dinnerware, decorative pillows, decorative accessories, as well as some furniture pieces.

The company will be headed by Ian Strickland as ceo; he has been the coo of B & Q China, a division of British B & Q.
