Cusano chairman at Service

NASHVILLE, TN -Service Merchandise Company Inc. announced the election of ceo Sam Cusano as chairman of the board, succeeding Raymond Zimmerman, who retired.
Cusano was named ceo in March 1999. Prior to his position, he was executive vp and cfo for the company.
"Raymond Zimmerman has made tremendous contributions to Service Merchandise for many years, for which he is owed a debt of gratitude," said Cusano.
