Target Bangalore unit now ‘Steinhafel Center’

Minneapolis - Target has renamed its main corporate office in Bangalore, India the Gregg W. Steinhafel Center, after the company’s chairman, president and ceo.
“The renaming of this facility underscores Target’s commitment to our operations in India and the efforts to further integrate our India and U.S.-based teams,” said Lalit Ahuja, president of Target India, which boasts a roster of 2,100.
Primarily a sourcing operation, the Bangalore-based unit was formerly known as C2; Target set up the business in 2005, the company said.
