Thompson new veep at Central Oriental/Natco

West Warwick, RI — Central Oriental/Natco has appointed Jim Thompson as vp, sales and marketing.

He replaces Steve Roan, who left to join Hellenic Rug Imports as vp of operations at the company's new headquarters in Calhoun, GA.

Thompson, who assumes his new post on Monday, will be responsible for sales management of area rugs at Central Oriental and Natco. He will be based here at headquarters.

Thompson brings many years of experience working in the textile industry. Most recently, he was director of national accounts for Shaw Rugs, based in Dalton, GA.

He will report to Mark Ferullo, president of Central Oriental, and Michael Litner, president of Natco.
