By Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 1/11/2007 11:10:00 AM

New York -- Luxury linens from around the world will be presented at the Winter 2007 edition of the New York Home Textiles Show, Sunday, Jan. 28 - Wednesday, Jan. 31, to be held at the Metropolitan Pavilion, 125 West 18th Street (between 6th & 7th Avenues).

Among international participants will be Portugal's prestigious Madeira Embroideries Institute, featuring live, daily demonstrations of this centuries-old hand-stitching technique.

Other foreign-based exhibitors include Culturally Chic from Hungary; Weavers & Designers from Peru; Arliktex and S. Jaeger Limited from Israel; Anne DeSolene and Le Cluny from France; Haller Textilwerke from Austria; and Missoni Home from Italy.

"The New York Home Textiles Show will feature boutique manufacturers from around the globe, who are ready and eager to do business in the United States with small to medium-size retailers," said Penny Sikalis, vp and group show manager. Produced by George Little Management, the Show will feature a total of 40 exhibitors of high-end bed, bath, and linen resources seen nowhere else in the market.
