Feizy to Bow Lifestyle Licensed Rugs

By Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 9/18/2006 12:00:00 AM

In January, Feizy Rugs will introduce accent and area rug collections under licensing agreements with lifestyle expert Sandra Lee and artist/designer Tracy Porter.

Sandra Lee, a best-selling author and Food Network host, is known for her “Semi-Homemade” approach to cooking, home decorating and entertaining. “Sandra's committed to finding stress-free decorating solutions for busy people by using the same down-home approach she uses in cooking and applying them to home decor,” said Ray Hashemi, divisional vp, Feizy Rugs.

The machine-made and hand-tufted rugs by Feizy, set to debut at the Atlanta gift and rug shows and the Las Vegas Market, will coordinate with the new Sandra Lee Home Collection of furniture, bedding and accessories.

The Tracy Porter Collection will show at the Las Vegas Market, and will include hand-knotted and hand-tufted rugs that embody the Wisconsin-based artist's range of styles from casual urban to sophisticated classic. The rugs will coordinate with other Tracy Porter home accessories, tabletop collections, lighting fixtures and fabrics.

“What a great fit,” said John Feizy, president and ceo. “Tracy and her team believe you should find joy in your surroundings, which is one of our guiding principles as well.”
