Foss taps Goranov for fiber research post

HAMPTON, N.H. —

Foss Manufacturing Company, a provider of specialty synthetic fibers and non-woven fabrics, has appointed Konstantin Goranov to the post of director of fiber research.

Goranov's responsibilities will include directing research and development initiatives within Foss' Fiber Unit and throughout the company.

"Konstantin's considerable talents, his wealth of experience in the U.S. and abroad, and his commitment to excellence and innovation will bring an important new dimension to our strategic and technical efforts," said Stephen Foss, Chairman and CEO.

Goranov has extensive management, operations and technical experience, most recently as a management consultant for Alloy Polymers, Piedmont Chemical Industry and Ancos Inc., all service providers for engineered thermoplastics. His responsibilities included providing strategic recommendations and technical expertise for expansion of new products and services.
