Achim picks new prez

NEW YORK —
Victor Levy has been named president of the soft home division of Achim Importing, a new position.
Levy will oversee the development and merchandising of soft window products — including draperies, panels and novelty tiers — and top of the bed. He will also work directly with the sales force in covering key accounts.
He reports to Issac Grossman, a principal of the company. Levy was most recently vp, sales at Arlee.
Achim also has a hard window coverings division and recently added some hard flooring products, including tiles and laminates.
