Robert Allen licenses with Lillian

New York — The Robert Allen Group has signed a license for decorative fabric with Lillian August Designs, the Connecticut-based home furnishings retailer and design concept company.

"I did a fabric collection with them about nine years ago," remarked designer Lillian August, whose licensed furniture is at Drexel Heritage. "It seemed time to go back and revisit fabrics."

The collection of about 70 skus will launch in the first half of next year and will be used on Drexel Heritage furniture. It also will be distributed in the network of Robert Allen interior designer showrooms around the country, according to Andy Pacuk, senior vp, the Robert Allen Group.

The designs, as Pacuk described them, are "updated classics, reinvented American classics."
