New York – Next Sunday’s telecast of the Primetime Emmy Awards will include the debut of the new Macy’s advertising campaign featuring ads created by Oscar winners Barry Levinson, director, and Bob Richardson, cinematographer – not to mention a raft of celebrity designers whose product lines fill its stores.
The star designers include: Martha Stewart, Kenneth Cole, Marc Ecko, Tommy Hilfiger; entertainment-based celebs Sean Combs, Jessica Simpson, Usher, Kimora Lee Simmons and Russell Simmons; chefs Emeril Lagasse and Tyler Florence; and mogul Donald Trump.
Peter Sachse, president of Macy's corporate marketing, said the campaign’s storytelling “puts iconic faces and personalities to the assorted collection of brands housed under our one big roof.”
The Martha Stewart Collection component of the campaign, which will continue to air on various media throughout the fall, is part of the largest brand rollout in Macy's history.
Oh My Lord! Donald Trump is now being called a designer! Keep it coming, this is so entertaining!
