Matthews Leaving Springs

Fort Mill, S.C.—Springs veteran Ted Matthews, vp communications, is leaving the company.

The position has been eliminated. Communications responsibilities now shift to Roland Myers, svp of human resources.

Matthews, who just marked his 20th anniversary with the company, said: “I came here 20 years ago this month with the goal of being the top p.r. person for the company. I feel very fortunate to have worked for this company and for Crandall Bowles, who retired in August as ceo.”
