In an article that appeared in the Feb. 12 issue, sources at Burlington House Floor Accents stated incorrectly that the company's new distribution facility is being constructed as part of Burlington's exclusive joint-venture partnership with Carpet Art Deco, a Montreal-based manufacturer of woven rugs.
Carpet Art Deco, not Burlington, is financing the building of the new facility.
Also, the two companies are not joined in an exclusive joint partnership. Carpet Art Deco is negotiating a licensing agreement with Burlington to use the Burlington House Floor Accents name. Once the agreement is made official, Burlington will continue to operate only its Bacova line of printed scatter rugs, accent rugs and doormats.
