Comfortex chooses vp for manufacturing

MAPLEWOOD, NY -Comfortex Corporation announced the appointment of Jam Barss to the position of vp of manufacturing.

Barss will be responsible for the management of the company's manufacturing facilities and maintenance departments in Melbourne, FL, Sparks, NV, and Phoenix.

"Jim has made a number of outstanding contributions to Comfortex manufacturing over the years," said Thomas Marusak, president. "Jim's expanded role will help enable Comfortex to implement new manufacturing technology, reduce costs and further enhance our overall product quality."

Barss, who has formerly worked for Ball Metal Container and Griffith Micro Science, joined the company in 1991.
