7W to offer range of market amenities

New York – Showroom venue 7W New York (7 West 34 Street) will be co-sponsoring a range of amenities and events for buyers during the New York Gift Week and the associated New York Home Textiles Market Week, Jan. 31 – Feb. 7.

“This year we are working closely with our industry partners to expand our programming during the New York Gift Week,” said Chris Collins, vp and gm, 7W New York. George Little Management (GLM) and the 230 Fifth Ave. and 41 Madison Ave. showroom buildings are teamed up with 7W on initiatives including free transportation to events such as ice skating at Rockefeller Center and the Gift for Life Party.

The New York Home Textile Market Week Reception at the Ankasa flagship store (135 E. 65 Street) will be a 7 p.m.-9 p.m. cocktail party on Friday, Feb. 1 sponsored by GLM and House Beautiful magazine, along with 230 Fifth.

On Saturday, Feb. 2 buyers can start with a quick massage at Oasis Day Spa, courtesy of the suites @ 7 W. Later, join the On The Town: Ice Skating Party at Rockefeller Center, 6:30 p.m. -8 p.m. Tickets to the co-sponsored event are $25 and cover entrance, rentals, hot chocolate and cookies rink-side.

At 7W, complimentary buyers lunch will be offered each day from Friday, Feb. 1 through Wednesday, Feb. 6.

On Sunday, Feb. 3 the 16th anniversary Gift for Life Party will be held at Strata (915 Broadway), 6 p.m.-10 p.m., with free shuttle service. As a gold sponsor, 7W helps raise funds for amfAR (the Foundation for AIDS Research). Honorees are Paulette Cole of ABC Carpet and Home, Will Little of George Little Management and Sheila Charton of 7 W New York. Individual tickets start at $150 or $5,000 for a table of ten.
