Izod moves into home with J.R United

New York — Banking on the strength of its brand name in apparel, Izod is planning to launch its first home collection this fall. The collection is the result of a licensing agreement with J.R. United Industries, which will manufacture and distribute the line for bed and bath.

The Izod Home collection, which will incorporate the well-known Izod logo, will be presented in four specific lifestyles: Izod Home, Izod Resort, Izod Spa and Izod Sport. Within each category there is Basix, Classix and Fashion merchandise.

The Izod Collection will initially include hand, bath, shower; beach, gym and golf towels; bath sheets, tub mats and rugs; bed sheets; pillow cases; comforters; and duvets and tailored bed skirts.

Bright colorways and simple designs will adorn the new line, with functional details and minimalist graphics also part of the look. The collection will feature moderate price points.
