Beaty, former Mervyn’s buyer, dies

DANVILLE, Calif. -- Ron Beaty, best known in the home furnishings industry from his many years as the domestic buyer for Mervyn's in California, passed away on May 8 after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease.
He is survived by his wife,Coco.
