Istanbul — Super Tekstil San. Tic. has created a line of nanotech home textiles products under the Dr. Deco brand. At Heimtextil, the company will debut curtains and bedding made from the fabric, which was created using Nanovate technology adapted by Super Tekstil’s 28-person R&D department.
The silky-feeling products offer six characteristics: anti-bacterial, anti-static, fast-drying, stain-resistant, odor-fighting, wrinkle-resistant and fire-retardant, according to Murat Bayrak, project manager. “Dr. Deco includes a lot of technological finishings on one fabric, using six different chemicals in one product,” he said.
In addition, Dr. Deco products can carry fragrance for ambience and aloe vera for skin-softening.
