Anderson, S.C. – Orian Rugs is relocating its New York City showroom to 7 West NY, at 7 West 34th Street, to a space that measures double the size of its former space.
Orian spent the past five at 286 Fifth Ave., directly across the street from home textiles hub 295 Fifth Ave.
The new site measures about 4,000 square feet and is better distributed to showcase the company’s growing assortment of USA-made area rugs, said Paul Sullivan, svp of sales and marketing.
“We are in preparation as we speak in contracting with a design firm to design the new showroom,” Sullivan said. “The new showroom is a direct result of the expansion of our product line and customer needs, so we can fulfill their desire to see more exciting product, more customer driven product and more product that is relevant to their consumer.”
Orian’s entire rug assortment is made domestically at its headquarters here in a 550,000-square-foot manufacturing facility. The line comprises machine-made synthetic varieties that range from opening price point BCF pieces to high-end 1.5-million-point styles.
Actually they are a Belgian company.

This compay should be applauded, maybe receive some kind of award. An American textile company maintaining it's American manufacturing base, keeping it's American workers employed, and still succeeding, certainly not something we see too often any more. I hope the people support this company with their business.
