Jacksonville, Fla —
The newest additions to the Nina: Nina Campbell Collection for Stein Mart arrived in stores in late February and will be promoted with store appearances by designer Campbell and a new in-store magazine, Nina, which features 72 full-color pages of decorating tips and retails for $4.99 exclusively at the $1.5 billion retailer.
Campbell's latest collection in the merchandise program, which initially launched in fall 2006, is New Opulence. The line is light and bright, using practical applications of luxurious fabrics such as velvet, taffeta, and linen with jewel tones of pink sapphire, aquamarine, and yellow diamond.
Campbell said, "Such a telling combination of luxury and comfort has always been an important aspect of interior decoration and design."
Stein Mart spokeswoman Kathy Schwartz Lussier said, "Nina's combination of stylish design and practicality appeal to the Stein Mart customers who seek a designer's touch at a price they can feel good about."
Stein Mart will also carry new ensembles from Campbell's bed and bath collection, a new contemporary pierced creamware collection, and table linens in garnet, sage, and beige. Decorative pieces inspired by nature, birdcages, petaled bowls, and diffusers are also new.
"I want to instill the joy of decorating, not make people afraid of it," Campbell said. During March, Campbell is scheduled to make store appearances at Stein Mart locations in Orlando, Ft. Myers, and Naples, Fla.; Mandeville and Metairie, La.; and Kildeer, Ill. She also plans to visit stores in late summer and early fall.
