By Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 4/22/2004 12:00:00 AM

NORCROSS, Ga. — Barry Kelley recently left the home textiles industry to join furniture, lighting and home accessories company Sterling Industries.

He has been appointed to the new position of director of creative services. Kelley reports directly to John Scott, company owner and president.

Kelley, who has spent more than 15 years working in the home textiles industry, was formerly vice president of marketing, merchandising and creative services for Dalton, Ga.-based Oriental Weavers of America. Prior to that, he worked under the same position for 14 years at Sugar Valley, Ga.-based Mohawk Home.

He has relocated to the Atlanta metropolitan area from Chattanooga, Tenn. to be closer to company headquarters here.
