Malone joins Stanton as regional sales mgr.

SYOSSET, NY —

Stanton Carpet Corp., an importer of wool and synthetic broadloom products and area rugs, has promoted Patrick Malone to the new position of regional sales manager, Western region.

Malone, a 15-year veteran of the floor covering industry on both the retail and wholesale sides, was most recently the company's sales representative in Connecticut, a position he held since 1999. Prior to that, he worked for Dorello Carpet in Connecticut as showroom manager and for World Carpets as a territory manager for Connecticut and Western Massachusetts.

In his new post, Malone oversees all sales west of the Rocky Mountains and is responsible for heightening Stanton's exposure and sales through new territory representation as well as working with existing sales representatives to increase growth and strengthen relations.

He is relocating to Southern California with his wife, Tricia, and their two children, Olivia and Patrick Jr.

He reports to Phil Koufidakis, vp of sales.

"Patrick has demonstrated by his actions and results that he is the ideal candidate for this position," Koufidakis said. "This new post is an example of our growth and dedication to our team and customers. We will continue to deliver the best in decorative flooring and that starts with our representation in the field."
