Hollander Offers More in Basics

New York — Laura Ashley basic bedding is once again anything but basic at Hollander Home Fashions, which introduced the brand's spring line at the August Market.

The palette's new prints and solids, many reversible, are offered in down and down alternative with matching shams. The line now includes solid bed skirts as an added feature.

The Laura Ashley feature bed is Springtime, suggesting the gentle change of season, made with down alternative.

Hollander's basic bedding has new quilting patterns in comforters, mattress pads, down alternative toppers, fiberbeds and blankets, utilizing single-needle quilting.

In bed pillows, the company offers quilted intricate designs, including the Spiral Quilted 300 cotton sateen down alternative, Peachy Puzzle gusset down alternative and Heirloom quilted superfirm. The Cuddleroll Cushion is fun in a variety of fabrications: Velvet Stripe, Heavy Metal and Tie-Dye Denim.

In fashion bedding, five new design themes were featured: Natural Habitat, a comfortable modern story inspired by nature; Silver Sophisticates, three streamlined ensembles; Patchwork Panache, a fresh collection of pieced ensembles; Contemporary Classics, new looks at traditional design elements; and Enchanting Exotica, which evokes the feeling of faraway places.
