DALTON, GA —
Shaw Rugs' Tommy Bahama licensed line of 100 percent woven nylon rugs was recently expanded with three new designs, and the company is planning another larger introduction of new natural fiber constructions for this fall.
For the expanded woven line, Shaw recently added the new designs "Windward Island," featuring a beige field bordered by tropical foliage, and the casual pineapple motifed "Grace Bay" as well as a new mocha colorway to its number-one selling rug "Palms Away," Jeff Meadows, division vp, told Home Textiles Today. The top-selling "Palms Away" design is currently available in a green colorway.
Price points for the new woven rugs will be maintained at $599 for a 6' x 9' like the other styles in the collection, Meadows said.
In October for the High Point International Home Furnishings Market, Shaw will add a new collection of natural fiber rugs, titled Tommy Bahama Naturals, to the licensed line. Made of natural fibers including abacca and raffia, "which we think are more exotic than the usual sisal looks," Meadows explained, the new collection will launch with 12 designs.
We would love your feedback!
