Couristan taps Gissell for residential sales

Fort Lee, N.J. – Broadloom and handmade area rug and supplier Couristan has named Terry Gissell national account manager for its Residential Sales Division, a newly created post that reports to Steve Codella, Couristan svp of sales, Eastern United States.

Gissell will spearhead efforts to increase area rug and residential broadloom sales by expanding the company’s product placement with select retail chains and national buying groups. She will also contribute to exclusive product development efforts and supervise brand-building marketing efforts.

Gissell was most recently vp merchandising for International Design Guild, a division of CCA Global Partners. She is a 13-year veteran of the flooring industry.
