Hunter Douglas shifts exec responsibilities

Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 8/28/2001 12:00:00 AM

Upper Saddle River, NJ — Hunter Douglas Window Fashions announced several changes for three members of its executive management team.

Keith Garmyn has been promoted to the position of vp of the Luminette Privacy Sheers Business Unit. He replaces Timothy Daviau, who has been named vp for the Silhouette and Vignette window shadings business unit. Rounding out the changes was Tim Turner, formerly the vp of the Silhouette/Vignette business unit, who becomes the product development team manager in the New Products Business Unit.

The changes were announced by Richard Pellett, vp/gm, who said, "These individuals are each uniquely qualified for their new roles and we wish them great success."

Both Garmyn and Daviau will report to Pellett while Turner, in his role, will report to Beth Hunt, vp, New Product Development.

Garmyn was most recently the director of operations for the Upper Saddle River, NJ-based hard window manufacturer's Manufacturing Group. Daviau had been vp of the Luminette Business Unit for the past year before being named to his new position. During his tenure with Hunter Douglas, which began in 1983, Turner has filled several roles, including director of Fabrication and Technical Services and director of the Customer Support Group.
