GARFIELD, NJ -The success of its quilted twin two-corner Huggers has prompted PatchKraft Inc. to get bigger.
The manufacturer of infant and teen bedding, based here, has expanded its line to now include a full-sized hugger as well as a twin duvet with filler.
"We've had a lot of requests from consumers for the bigger size," said Paula Markowitz, president. "So we wanted to introduce the bigger hugger and twin duvet as other options for our customers."
The Huggers are available in 25 patterns while the duvets are available in 16 different designs, all of which coordinate with already existing patterns. PatchKraft has already begun to ship both products with a twin-sized hugger retailing for $175-$225. A twin duvet cover will carry a price point of $150-$199. The huggers are offered in full sizes as well, but the duvet covers are only available in twin for now.
A wide variety of accessories is also offered by PatchKraft, including pillow shams and decorative pillows for the bed and lamp bases, lamp shades, wall borders, window treatments, waste baskets, tissue boxes and hampers available for the bedroom, "so a mother can buy the complete bedroom for her child," Markowitz said.
As part of its marketing, PatchKraft also provides color catalogs, swatch cards and point-of-purchase brochures for retailers to hand out to prospective customers.
