Hope Valley, RI – Kitchen textiles manufacturer and importer Kay Dee Designs has paired up with designer Kate Spain to create three new collections poised for launch this fall.
Set to comprise full-length aprons, hostess aprons, tea towels and other coordinating components, the three new collection are: “Rise and Shine,” “Sea Star,” and “Meadowbrite.”
The initial program will be expanded with added looks and styles for the fourth quarter holiday season.
Spain is described as combining “hand-drawn traditional techniques with her contemporary sensibilities to create a style that has generated broad appeal” and she achieves this by “mixing=2 0scale, pattern and color.”
“As a designer, I am so appreciative of the extra efforts Kay Dee is undertaking in production in order to stay true to the collections as I designed them,” Spain said.
Spain will be introducing many new concepts at the Surtex trade show May 17 to 19. Some of her new looks will include summer florals, batik-inspired patterns, farmers’ market styles, and motifs that connect us to nature. New holiday designs will also be showcased.
We would love your feedback!
