Hoffman Estates, Ill. —
Although it began rolling out in August, the Country Living Collection of more than 700 home products officially made its debut last week at Kmart and Sears.
The collection — which includes fashion bedding, bath, kitchen textiles, tabletop, décor and ready-to-assemble furniture — will be carried in more than 1,200 Kmart stores and 500 Sears units. Country Living is assembled around four design themes: Modern Countryside, Blue & White, Red & White, and Faded Antique.
Comforter set retails top out of $169.99, while bath prices range from $6.99 to $14.99.
“The complete collection focuses on high-quality craftsmanship combined with seldom-seen artisan details,” said Glen Ellen Brown, vp, Hearst Brand Development, which pursues licensing arrangements and brand extensions for Hearst Magazines properties.
