Lauren RL Spa Extends Organics

New York —Lauren Ralph Lauren Home is expanding its Spa Collection with organic fabrics and prints in two new beds that have been certified by GOTS.

The six new beds in the classic line embrace looks that are inspired by a variety of influences from bed and breakfast lodgings to classic Ralph Lauren designs, soft country influences, and vintage Hollywood — a recurrent Lauren theme.

In the Spa Collection, Seaside Retreat is a soft print on organic cotton with 400-count solid color sheets using long staple organic cotton. Island Retreat, the second in the Spa group, is a blue with white stripe dot sporting a bohemian influence. The pillow cases have paisley cuffs. Carrying out the organic and eco mode, the pillows have insides of fiberfill of PET-derived polyester.

Coral Beach represents today's version of glamorous old Hollywood, mixing a paisley, stripe and cable with a feminine palette of pale blues and tans. Home Lake is a soft country floral in a watercolor palette of soft yellow, pink and green. Among the fabric highlights are seersucker and chambray.

Vintage Explorer is the most masculine of the new beds, with classic Lauren windowpane designs, plaid, chino, ticking and a faux tent cloth as the key fabrics — all yarn dyes.

Palm Harbor is classic Lauren with blue and white Chinoiserie motifs for the bed as well as three styles of towels using the color statement. A white duvet is also part of the accessory statement.

Post Road is a bed and breakfast look — girly and feminine with a teastain floral, eyelet embellishment and ruffles the important design statements.
