Actress and entrepreneur Jaclyn Smith has organized all of her home furnishings collections under an integrated brand, Jaclyn Smith Home.

With Kmart as anchor retailer for her apparel program, Smith also has Hickory Hill, Comfort Solutions by King Koil, Diversitex Fabrics, and Dalyn Rug as current furniture and home licensees.

Atlanta-based HB2, a new consulting firm made up of home furnishings industry veterans Caroline Hipple, Dixon Bartlett and Joey Bowers, will work with manufacturers and retail partners to create a lifestyle format that coordinates merchandising, marketing and sales for Jaclyn Smith Home.

Hipple told HTT they are particularly "thinking together about how to help consumers furnish their houses from top to bottom with Jaclyn."

She said categories under development for future product lines include top of bed, soft window treatments, table linens, kitchen textiles and decorative pillows.

"We want to create three collections in three color and style themes that are articulated through our vendors, and textiles are the perfect fit," Hipple emphasized. "Jaclyn loves home textiles."
