Pittsburgh —
Bed pillow, mattress cover and pillow cover manufacturer American Textile Company (ATC) has opened a 55,000-square-foot production and shipping facility in Salt Lake City to provide increased capacity for its bed pillow lines.
"American Textile Company is excited about the opening of this new facility, which reinforces our commitment to growing our bed pillow business," said Reid Ruttenberg, ATC chairman. The company has also expanded its Duquesne, Pa. headquarters in the past year.
ATC will open its new showroom in the home textiles building at 295 Fifth Avenue in New York at this year's August market. The showroom will move to a new sixth-floor space, which will be double the size of the previous fifth-floor location, said Lance Ruttenberg, evp and vp of operations.
