Atlanta —
Hand-crafted rug company Imperial Rugs is gearing up to celebrate during the International Area Rug Market here next week the grand opening of its new showroom space at the AmericasMart.
A 30-year-old manufacturer based here and in India, Imperial Rugs is leasing a 1,600-square-foot space in showroom 4-E-1. For the market event, the company will stock its new site with its hand-tufted, hand-loomed, flat-woven and hand-knotted rugs and home accessories, which are produced on its more than 2,000 looms and tufting frames in India.
Jim Arinik, area sales manager for Imperial Rugs, said the company opted to lease a permanent showroom here to support recent growth.
"Partnering with and taking space at AmericasMart will help us continue this momentum, as we will be afforded the opportunity to reach more customers and strengthen our business on an international level," Arinik said.
A ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open the showroom will take place at 2 p.m. July 13, the opening day of the rug market.
We would love your feedback!
