Paquette joins LNT

Clifton, NJ — Linens 'n Things has hired Paula Paquette as vp/gmm of decorative housewares, responsible for the merchandising direction of the decorative division. Reporting to Audrey Schlaepher, chief merchandising officer, Paquette officially begins on April 8.
With 18 years of retail experience, she joins the specialty retailer from Kmart, where she most recently held the position of vp/gmm of the home division, which includes the Martha Stewart brand. She also held the positions of merchandise manager, soft home division, and division vice president, home fashion division.
Paquette also spent time at Caldor, where she was buyer, bedding, and buyer, table linens, basic bedding and rugs. She began her career with Zayre Stores.
Paquette will be relocating to New Jersey.
She replaces Lisa Laube, who left the company a year ago.
