Fine Design To Highlight Luxury
Michael Payne Will Deliver Keynote Address

Fine Design 2005 — the residential component to NeoCon World's Trade Fair taking place June 13 -15 at The Merchandise Mart here — will showcase the latest in luxury home furnishings and host a series of special events.
Interior designer Michael Payne, host of HGTV's “Designing for the Sexes,” will deliver one of two design keynote presentations: “The Most Common Design Dilemmas Between Couples.” The program will take place June 14 at 1 p.m. at the Merchandise Mart Conference Center.
The following day's design keynote presentation, “Fashion Forward: From the Runway to the Hallway, Moving Beyond Color in 2005,” will feature Robert Verdi, co-host of Discovery Channel's “Surprise by Design.” The program takes place at 3:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Chicago Mart Plaza.
Other special events includes a Parade Of Pet Homes exhibit at participating Design Center showrooms, including Beacon Hill, Design Atelier, Designer Resources, Donghia, Duralee, George Smith, Henredon, Kravet, Lee Jofa and Martin-Wood. The showrooms will host a silent auction to benefit the Anti-Cruelty Society.
