Hellenic creates new operations post

Toronto — Hellenic Rug Imports Canada Inc., the three-year-old sister company to U.S.-based Hellenic Rug Imports, recently hired Ashish Puri to the new post of vp of operations.

Puri's responsibilities involve managing all operations of the supply chain from the factory to customers' shelves, said Ankush Gupta, president, to whom Puri reports.

"We hired Ashish to help us standardize our operations more," Gupta told HTT. "Hellenic Canada has grown a lot and we need to support this growth."

Puri most recently worked for General Electric as a senior manager, based in Erie, PA. He is relocating here for his new position.
