Domay Debuts Art Licenses

By Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 2/4/2008 12:00:00 AM

Diversified home textiles producer Domay Inc. has entered licensing agreements with a roster of publishers and popular artists, for which the company said kitchen textiles products will be ready to ship to retail by March.

Featuring original artworks that are already best-selling as wall art, the initial product range will comprise oven mitts, pot holders, kitchen towels, aprons and placemats. The lines will be on display during the New York Home Fashions Market, Feb. 11-15, at the Domay showroom, Suite 1308 in the 230 Fifth Ave. building.

The new Domay licenses include:

  • Jennifer Garant LLC;

  • Paul Leveille/Directional Publishing;

  • Daphne B. and Charlene Audrey/Apple Jack Art Partners;

  • Douglas Laird/Applejack/Mountain Rendezvous Publishing;

  • Albena Hristova/Wild Apple Graphics;

  • Carol Robinson/Galaxy of Graphics LLC.

Domay vp Jeffrey Bernstein said limited exclusives will be considered for some of the "mid- to higher-level North American retailers" that are targeted for the program.

The privately held, 26-year-old company serves all channels of retail in the United States and Canada, primarily as a private label resource and under its own brands such as By Domay, Gourmet Pro, Team Domay, Domay Baby, Royal by Domay, V.I.P., RSVP and VUE.
