Kravet Debuts Floorcoverings Line

Kravet has expanded its reach as a supplier of high end home furnishings to the designer market with the formation of its newest division, Kravet Floorcoverings.
The company has named Nicholas Lomangino as vp of the new division. Lomangino was most recently president and general manager of the Patterson, Flynn and Martin carpet division of F. Schumacher & Co. Before his career at Schumacher, he held a number of executive positions within interior designer showrooms, agent showrooms, showroom leasing, and designer licensing.
The Kravet Floorcoverings collection includes Tibetan, hand-knotted Orientals, Aubusson, and naturals including raffia and hemp carpets. The company also is working on a launch of carpets under its Lee Jofa brand.
In addition to carpets, Kravet has a full line of decorative fabrics, trims, and furniture.
