Strouds promotes Fahey to vp post

City of Industry, CA — Specialty retailer Strouds has announced the promotion of Anne Fahey to vp of merchandise for Strouds' full-line stores. Reporting to Rob Valone, president, Fahey will oversee a staff of five buyers.

She replaces Donna Aidekman, who left the company late last week.

Fahey joined Strouds in June 2000 as director of bath purchasing and recently managed the company's luxury linen buying. Previously, she held various merchandising positions with Bloomingdale's and The Broadway. She began her career at Robinson's Department Stores in Los Angeles.
