Koncept to Showcase Textiles Designers

Koncept, a new trade show focusing on textiles and surface design for the interior products market, will make its debut Oct. 23-25, 2007 at the Metropolitan Pavilion, 123 West 18th Street.

Koncept will showcase selected collections by international textile design studios, many of whom will be exhibiting in the USA for the first time. "The event will bring design studios face to face with America's leading producers of home textiles and accessories," said Massimo Iacoboni, president of Printsource New York, producer of the show.

The Printsource New York show currently holds three shows a year at the Hotel Pennsylvania here, catering to a wide range of apparel and textiles designers, producers and retailers, but the Koncept event will focus on the home — with categories to include: upholstery fabrics, curtains and draperies, wallpaper and wall coverings, carpets, floor coverings, bed/bath/kitchen linens, tabletop, home accents and accessories.
