Princeton, N.J. —Growing its budding business with interior designers, architects and decorators, upscale Italian linen source Tuscan Hills, LLC has unveiled its spring/summer 2006 collection in modern stripes, solids and sheers.
Building upon its debut collection more than six months ago, one-third of its sales now come from the design trade. In the company's newest line are about 12 designs spanning 400-count bedding, curtains, table linens and decorative pillows. Customers can choose from about 10 hues in the new palette, but custom-dye colors are also available. Linens are hand-finished and embellished with such details as hemstitches, embroideries and lace.
The new line has been edited down to convey a specific point of view that takes Old World artistry and portrays it in a contemporary way. “Busatti is a 163-year-old traditional linen manufacturer that maintains Old World colors, designs and techniques,” observed Tuscan Hills' co-owner and founder Greg Evans of its Italian textiles resource.
The company offers its clients the ability to bring hand-crafted Italian goods direct from small family-run manufacturers in Tuscany that still utilize centuries-old techniques. It is the exclusive U.S. distributor for most of the collections it carries, such as Busatti linens for kitchen, bedroom and bath, Caporali wrought-iron furniture, and other home accents.
Tuscan Hills will continue to launch two collections a year (spring/summer and fall/winter) to be more in-tune with the fashion houses.
