Croscill makes the case for area rugs

At the New York Market – What began about three years ago as an accent to its business is now growing into a bigger investment in the floor covering category by Croscill Home Fashions, as the company now has added 5-by-8 area rugs to its growing rug assortment.
First came the 20-by-33 pieces, which retail for $29.99. Ensuing that move was the addition of 27-by-44 rugs, which carry a $49.99 ticket.
Now with the area rug size in the mix, Croscill can offer a complement to many of its bedding collections.
The area sizes are set to retail for $199. They come in two constructions – an acrylic all-loop, and a tufted-and-loop acrylic. Other sizes are available upon request, the company said.
Design offerings for the floor coverings are broad. The accent sizes are available in all shower curtain patterns as direct coordinates, for example. The larger rugs are designed especially with an eye to working with the Croscill bedding programs.
