NEW YORK —
Bloomcraft, a division of P/Kaufmann, Inc. will introduce a collection of wovens and prints as the decorative home fabrics licensee for Thomas Kinkade, "the painter of light."
The collection of some 65 skus will embrace a wide range of decorative prints, multi-purpose fabrics, yarn dyed plaids, drapery weight, sheers and laces, according to Fred Vecchione, Bloomcraft president.
Jo-Ann Stores will launch "a pilot collection created for them" nation-wide in July, Vecchione said, with the entire collection debuting in the fall for all distribution channels. The fabric designs "were inspired by his paintings but are not replicas," Vecchione explained.
Price points range from $5.95 to $8.95 cost.
