Coughlin comes home

NEW YORK —
Former Springs executive Tom Coughlin has returned to the textiles industry, joining bedding and window manufacturer Victoria Classics as evp, sales and operations, a new position.
He reports to Toby and Joe Cohen, the brothers who own the company. Most recently at R.G. Barry, a leading manufacturer of slippers, as corporate evp, Coughlin previously spent seven and a half years at Springs, his last position being svp sales, Wal-Mart and Sam's Club global team leader.
"I really wanted to get back into the home textiles business," Coughlin said, and Victoria Classics is "a great company with a good business model." It also has an informal structure, and he will work in tandem with the Cohen brothers, though he reports to them.
We would love your feedback!
