Rue de France stalks home licensees

New York — Rue de France, a catalog and online retailer of French country home décor items, has partnered with licensing agency The Beanstalk Group to secure licensees to produce various home textiles and other product lines in affordable luxury under the retailer's label.
Beanstalk will market Rue de France to national manufacturers and retailers for bedding, bath and kitchen textiles, window treatments, rugs, nursery décor, tabletop, rugs, lamps and furniture.
Rue de France, founded in 1982, markets French lace curtains and window treatments, home furnishings, decorative accessories, furniture, table and bed linens and gifts.
"Our Rue de France customers are very loyal and this is an ideal opportunity to reach out to new customers who appreciate the beauty, style and elegance of French country décor," said Pam Kelley, president, Rue de France. "The Beanstalk Group's expertise in licensing will help us broaden the reach of our brand."
Other Beanstalk clients include AT&T, The Coca-Cola Company, Harley-Davidson, Ford Motor Company, The Stanley Works, Mary-Kate and Ashley and The Rubbermaid Group.
