SRTC meeting planned for May

The Southern Textile Research Conference (STRC) will have its annual meeting May 16 to 18, at Pawley's Plantation, Pawley's Island, S.C. The theme for the meeting is "Progress Through Fundamentals."

The STRC operates under the auspices of the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC).

This year's presentations will focus on flammability standards, the non-wovens market, continuous preparation of stretch woven fabrics, acrylics and binders for textiles, nanotechnology and textile surface modification, and the impact of politics and manufacturing environments on the U.S. textiles industry.
