By Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 6/12/2002 12:00:00 AM
Arlington, VA — After more than a decade of service, Robert Verdisco has announced that he will retire at the end of the year as president of the International Mass Retail Association, though he will serve in a consulting role for one year to ensure a smooth transition.
The IMRA board's search committee will begin the process of selecting Verdisco's successor immediately, but if no one is in place by Jan. 1, 2003, Verdisco has agreed to continue as president until the search is completed
